Admiral Fluckey's Lager was brewed with 51% Pilsner malt and 49% Chardonnay grapes, then fermented with Champagne yeast. It is low (~15 IBU?s) on the bitterness scale, a bit sweet, about 7-8% abv, with the slight acidity of a champagne. Admiral Fluckey was the first commander of the USS Dogfish (submarine) and just passed away on July 2, 2007
