Ace BlackJack 21

Brewed by Ace Cider

French Cider9.0% ABV1 IBU

Released in 2014, this cider celebrates 21 years making Ace Cider in Sebastopol, California. Ace Cider was the first cider to be made in the western United States, since prohibition. Ace's founder, Jeffrey House, found high-quality cider-making apples in Sonoma County and put them to good use beginning in 1993.

To Pay homage to the wine industry Ace has been rubbing shoulders with in Sonoma since inception, BlackJack is an Apple Wine, also known as an Imperial Cider, using one single, local, apple varietal (Gravenstein), and single-season spent Sonoma Chardonnay Oak Barrels to create something worth celebrating.

The Gravenstein apple was what drew Jeffrey to Sebastopol to start making cider in 1993 so this apple runs to the core of our existence. Our cidery stands on the Gravenstein Highway (Hwy 116) where you can find these apples growing along it's twists and turns.
