Don’t be fooled by appearances. What looks like a hoppy porter is actually a Double IPA that happens to be black. De-husked roasted malts give this beer its black color, but upon closer inspection, there’s a glimmer of reddish-brown hue to be seen. This beer brims with fruity and floral flavors and aromas such as apple, pear, mango, white grapes, green tea, and honeysuckle that meld softly with earthy chocolate notes.
