Hermitage Centennial Single Hop IPA

Centennial is a truly classic American hop variety that has been a favorite among craft brewers since its release in 1990. It was bred from a combination of several English varieties, and is sometimes referred to as a super Cascade. The aroma is full of earthy spiciness that shows off its English heritage, with a big floral quality that plays very nicely with a sweet citrus fruit character. The flavor is well balanced and smooth; not too bitter, not too fruity, not too resinous, but exhibiting all of these qualities in an excellent example of delicious American hoppiness. The beer finishes smooth and dry, seeming to fall right off the back of the palette. We are huge fans.
