The Southern Pines Grand Cru is a rich, complex, and dangerously smooth Belgian Dark Strong Ale. It is modeled after the Trappist Ales of Belgium, using the same water profile found at the Chimay Abbey. Its deep, garnet hue and dense, persistent head foreshadow wonderful aromas of raisins, plums, and spicy esters. The strong malt presence and toffee flavors from the Dark Belgian Candi Syrup are balanced by a low hop presence and smooth alcohol flavors. Enjoy with quietude and receptivity!
