Roggenbier is similar to a dunkelweizen but is brewed with rye malt instead of wheat. Ripple effect is no different. It is brewed with rye as more than half the grain bill and then fermented with a classic hefeweizen yeast. This produces the fruity light esters associated with a classic hefeweiss, but with an added spiciness from the rye, almost reminiscent of rye bread. Light in body and alcohol, Ripple Effect is a true session beer that is refreshing round after round. Winter Seasonal. OG 1042, IBU 16 ABV 4%
Food Pairing: German Cuisine, Blue & Cheddar Cheeses, Salad, Pork
Hops: Magnum, Hallertau
Grains/Adjuncts: Rye, 2-Row, Munich, Chocolate
