A wonderful aroma of fresh baked pumpkin and a mild cinnamon clove, as well as ginger spiciness fill out the nose. The caramel aroma notes lie on top like an extra bonus. Just a little earthy hop aroma is evident in this brew. With a very clear amber color and tan head, it creates a nice lace in the glass after each sip. The base bear in this recipe is our amber, so lighter than a lot of pumpkin beers because we want the extra work of cleaning, peeling, and baking all that pumpkin to shine. After all, shouldn't a pumpkin beer be about pumpkin?
