A traditional stout brewed brewed with the addition of milk sugar, which cannot be fermented by traditional brewer's yeast, and adds a residual sweetness to balance out the roasted notes from the malt. Overall, you'll definitely notice more body in this beer (which is enhanced by nitrogen carbonation) and a noticeable sweetness which lends the impression of dark roasted coffee with cream.
