Like an old-world fairytale, everything about this Imperial Stout is dark. Dark malts. Dark Chocolate. Dark Cherry. There is a depth of flavor imparted by six different kinds of malt, revealing notes of coffee and chocolate, a subtle roast astringency and malty bitterness. This is balanced by Ghirardelli dark chocolate and dark, sweet cherries for a very happy ending indeed.
