Rich and dark, this full bodied stout has just enough hop bitterness to counter the big and bold malt backbone. Chocolate malt and roasted barley yield rich flavours and smoky aromas of coffee and dark chocolate. Slight ester presence, with hints of pear and blackberry. This face-warming favourite was blessed by the late addition of Boreal Birch Syrup, (produced right here in Quesnel), lending its truly unique flavour.
Food Pairing: Goes well with any hearty dishes, or try sipping it while roasting marshmallows around the campfire!
