Birkenhead Rawene Coconut Vanilla Stout

Brewed by Birkenhead Brewing Company

Oatmeal Stout6.0% ABV22 IBU

DARK AND INTRIGUING
Rawene (pronounced Rāh-wee-knee) is the Māori word for 'Raven'. The New Zealand Raven (Corvus antipodum) has been extinct since the 16th century.

Closer to home, Rawene Street in Birkenhead has since 1913 connected our local village to the national icon, Chelsea Sugar Factory..

We pay tribute to our heritage and this glossy back bird with our Coconut & Vanilla Oatmeal Stout. Deep brown, velvety smooth and complex, you’ll catch aromas of chocolate with notes of vanilla and a subtle coconut sweetness finish that lingers.

Take flight with another great beer inspired by our hometown of Birkenhead.

Brewed in the authentic historical style of an Imperial Russian Stout, this beer is massive. Intensely aromatic (notes of anise, black currants, coffee, roastiness and alcohol) and heavy on the palate, this brew goes where few can - and fewer dare try.
