This Arizona produced hard cider is fermented in French bordeaux barrels previously used for aging Cabernet. After fermentation is complete the cider is transferred into a secondary barrel for aging and flavor addition. The hibiscus is added using a 15 dry-hop process. The lengthiness of this process coaxes out the citrus tones form hibiscus flowers. A small amount of organic tart cherry juice is added near the end of the aging process to add cherry notes and a slight tartness.
