This is a California twist on a traditional German style Altbier. Brewed with over 60% Munich Dark Malt, this beer as a distinctly toasty smooth taste balanced with just a hint of bitterness from German Noble hops (Hallertauer) and their American counterpart (Mt. Hood). We ferment with an American Ale yeast at 58dF for a clean finish letting the malt flavor shine through.
