Named as a nod to John Riggins' famous game-changing 4th & 1 touchdown in 1983's Superbowl XVII for which he was awarded the Superbowl MVP - is, technically speaking, a German-style Pilsner brewed with only classic pilsner ingredients. Malts used are true-to-style 2-row pilsner malt and dextrin malt. Hops are noble, old-world hops including: German hops Perle & Tettnanger. as well as the Czech hop, Saaz. Water profile dialed in to have specific characteristics of mineral-rich deep water wells
