Figueroa Mountain Tropical IPA

This American style IPA is bursting with tropical fruit character. We used a combination of hops to bring tropical characteristics to the forefront. Tropical IPA contains El Dorado which lends bright tropical citrus notes with subtle resinous character, along with Citra which is known for imparting Guava, Mango, Lychee, and Papaya as well as citrus notes. We paired up with a tropical fruit importer to shine a spotlight on Guava. This organic puree comes from Ecuador where Guava thrives. We thought of the beautiful mosaic of painted caves dotted across California (not to mention our own back yard) when developing this fruit forward beer style.
