Sometimes hop character is perfectly balanced to supplement malt character, and sometimes hop character is excessive to please those who just can’t get enough of it. This is one of those beers. Although the alcohol by volume is relatively low, this particular brew has a ton of hop character. The malted grains contained are light and simple to allow particular hop varietals to shine. At 6 lbs per barrel of beer, the hops are showcased front and center in this bad boy. Represented are several very exciting American varietals: Mosaic, Simcoe, and Palisade which create intense notes of pine, citrus, berries, apricots, and grassy tones to help satisfy your hop cravings. The beer finishes fairly dry to allow hop flavors to remain, and welcomes future sips (or gulps).
