Golden Coast Mead California Oak

Brewed by Golden Coast Meadery

Semi-Sweet Mead10.5% ABV

This zesty and powerful mead combines California Wildflower Honey, Palomar Mountain Spring Water, and American Oak. It is bottled in an amber 500ml lager bottle with a pop-top. We recommend drinking the contents within 24 hours of opening the bottle. Otherwise, it keeps on the shelf for as long as you would like to store it, and even gets better with age.

Details:
- Gluten Free
- All natural ingredients found in southern California

Food Pairing: This mead opened our eyes to the possibility of mead beyond the dessert realm. Strong, full of honey notes up front but balanced by a high American Oak presence and a high ABV with some minor carbonation, California Oak is a great introductory mead for the under-initiated. Perfect for grilling, “bonfiring,” drinking with fish tacos, we see this mead as our “five o’clock mead” that can open many people up to what tasty mead can taste like.
