This beer is a collaboration between hip-hop heavyweights Killer Mike and EL-P and Goose brewers Brian Taylor and Keith Gabbett. Run the Jewels - named after the duo's new album -- is a draft-only, special edition, dry-hopped Belgian Wheat Ale. The result is a beer that invokes one of the duo's favorite aromas *wink-wink* (via the unique 72-72 hop), "helps alleviate cotton-mouth," and has a color that represents the status of their new record (gold).
Killer Mike and EL-P joined Goose Island at the Brewery to brew with Brian and Keith. This beer was available on draft in Chicago for a couple weeks leading up to the festival and at the festival itself July 19-21.
