Great Lakes Wandering Pelican

This hopped-up American Black Ale has a dark roasted character and is nicely balanced with a floral hop bitterness. You'll notice upfront caramel notes with a dark unsweetened chocolate and espresso finish.

The story of this beer goes back to the summer of 2013, when the city of Cleveland was introduced to a unique and rare visitor. A Brown Pelican, usually found in Florida and other Gulf states, wandered north to vacation on Cleveland's Lake Erie coast.
