Our Double Z Keller Pilsner is a light-bodied, straw colored lager. In rare Keller style, this beer is brewed exclusively with imported German Pilsner malts and offers a slight honey character balanced with a hefty dose of Hallertau Blanc hops. The hops slightly overwhelm the maltiness with overtones of grape and lemongrass, leaving a crisp, dry finish. Staying true to the ancestry of the Kellerbier Pils, the Double Z Pilsner is unfiltered and slightly hazy in appearance. We continue to honor our West Virginia heritage and named our Double Z both the Chacos sandals & tan lines on river guides’ feet and the Double Z Rapids on the New River in the Gorge.
