Maibocks (May Bocks) are strong, golden lagers. Because of the climate
in Bavaria, brewers offer Bocks in all but the summer season. Maibocks
are brewed in spring with light colored malts and little more bitterness
than their winter cousins.
Maiden’s Kiss is a rich Maibock dominated by Pilsner and Munich
malts. It’s balanced by a warming alcohol foundation and enough hoppy
bitterness to create a clean, crisp finish. A true celebration of spring.
Most Bocks are dark, malty, strong lagers. Maibocks are a pleasant kiss of
springtime fresh air and a foreshadowing of sunny summer Helles. Prost!
