Horse & Dragon Double Recessive Double Red Ale

The lower right of the Punnett Square is reserved for the rarest of genotypes, and we’re happy to name this double red for it. Our head brewer, Josh Evans, sports the ginger beard we feature on this logo and it is his recipe, using distinctive and local Inland Island yeast.
Caramel goodness and a whiff of hops on the nose carry over into the flavor of this full-bodied ale. A blend of Old World-New World hops complements a complex malt base, and a hint of the ABV and a light fruitiness round out this terrifically satisfying red. Let’s lift a glass to the rare reds of the world!
