Horse & Dragon Olwyn IPA

An IPA for hop lovers, the aromas on this one - starfruit, passionfruit, nectarine, pineapple, and a hint of juniper - suggest a sweet beer. The hop combo that gives it those aromas (Azacca, Citra) does provide some fruitiness to the flavor, but also give us that welcome cleansing bite and slight residual bitterness. Big hop character, lighter body, dries out well - it’s a really drinkable IPA, despite its hefty ABV.
Olwyn is the Welsh wore for “white footprint” and this logo’s colors match those of the Welsh flag. This beer is named after one of Josh & Ellen’s dogs, who sports a (you guessed it) white paw.
