Good Morning old friend! This is one of the oldest recipes we still make. It's a stout, tried and true. The final gravity is heavier than our other ales, but not too heavy. The roasted notes are obvious and the coffee like aroma is nice and inviting. We have tried this recipe a bunch of different ways, but keep coming back to the original. Not too sure if we can make a better stout than this one. During the winter months, we have been known to add Lactose and make a milk stout version of it. "Stout, it's what's for breakfast....."
