Nervous Sheep 90 Schilling Scottish Ale

"Always wear your kilt, sheep can hear a zipper from a mile away!" This is the second beer in our Brewer’s Signature Series. As is typical of this style, Nervous Sheep is a malt focused, deep copper colored ale. Golden Promise pale malt provides the base, which is traditional. Various specialty malts of English origin come together to offer the depth and subtle character. There is a perceptible maltiness in the aroma with very subtle caramel overtones. The palate remains malty, with subtle, delicate flavors of toast and caramel. English Goldings provide just enough bitterness to balance the malt sweetness. The finish tends to be just dry with a medium-low body and carbonation. A delicious, smooth and delicate pint in the pub tradition. Mhath!
