The Story
Sweet Nellie was our notoriously wacky but lovable Beagle. She captured our hearts and earned our love and respect for over 16 years. On her passing we dedicated this fine Brown Ale to celebrate her life. We hoist a glass to her memory, her deep brown eyes, her loud howl and the many other wonders that she brought to our lives. If you owned a dog, you know how these wonderful companions can capture your hearts.

Cicerone Notes
Not your traditional Brown Ale, unique in its alluring nut flavors, sweet undertones, slight roastiness with just the right amount of bitterness. This Brown Ale uses a Whitbread Ale yeast and a clever use of traditional lager hops to give it delightful appeal. Distinctly brown hued with a smooth finish, this Brown Ale offers up a timeless mouth watering treat.

Food Pairing: Serve in a 16oz Willie Becher or Pint/Nonic glass between 45-55 degrees F.
Pairs well with Asiago, Cheshire, Colby, Emmental, Gloucester, Gouda and Gruyère cheeses, Beef stew, grilled and roasted meats, pork, sausage and barbecue.
