Pacific Coast Brewing Elder Statesman

Our bar amanger is retiring after 25 solid years of pouring craft beers. John Campau is an avid nature enthusiast and bird watcher, so we wanted this beer to provide the sensation of hiking through the Oakland Hills. The brew was inspired by a 13th century Trappist ale recipe from a time when they flavored beers with herbs instead of hops.
