A Collaboration for American Craft Beer Week and the Loose Affiliation of Fort Collins Craft Brewers. This years collaboration was with Horse & Dragon Brewing, Black Bottle Brewery, and Rally King Brewing (opening in June). A deep golden rye ale made with horses, dragons, a mix of green & white peppercorns, and English hops. It is then dry spiced with black peppercorns and winter truffles to make it truly unique. Malty sweet up front with a nice blend of pepper and rye spicy notes. Finishes earthy and easy to drink with a light body and a finale of subdued truffle luxuriousness.
**We each had an ingredient to add: we added truffles, H&D added dragons and horses (rice paper), Black Bottle chose Cara-rye malt and Rally King added white, green and black peppercorns.
