Smooth, malty black lager. This beer is a Munich style dunkel, with a bit of extra dark malts to push it into schwarzbier (black beer in German) territory. This is the lightest drinking dark beer you will ever have. Notes of toffee, caramel and malt are easy to find, and some mild spice notes mingle nicely in the background.
