An English-style Extra Special Bitter, made with Baird’s 1823 Maris Otter malt, which is amber colored with golden tints. This complex beer begins with an aroma of spicy/piney hops, balanced with toasted biscuit malt flavors with roasted hints. The flavor is clean and dry with a pleasing balance of English hops and dry malt with subtle flavors of melon and pear. It ends long, dry and hoppy.
