Prism Naked Red

Brewed by Prism Brewing Company

Irish Red Ale5.5% ABV24 IBU

Red heads are full of fire and hard to handle. Our red ale is complex but down to earth thanks to the use of our English style and hops. It’s a malty, earthy and flavorful ale and at just 5.5% ABV you can enjoy this beauty for some time.

This was one of our founders original home brew recipes that became the base of Red Zone and Funk Zone. The base of this beer was originally used in a home concoction our owner made for those long nights playing poker. In those days it was infused with pharmaceutical grade caffeine, taurine and vitamin b and was the craft beer drinkers answer to red bull. Unfortunately the government frowns upon putting caffeine or vitamins into beer. The good news is that the base was so tasty we knew that we would have to find a way to let is shine.

Hops: Perle, Fuggle

Grains/Adjuncts: Special Pale, Aromatic Malt, Roasted Barley, Cara 8
