We strive for an authentic interpretation of the style for this beer (as we do for almost all of our beers). We start with ingredient selection, using choice Weyerman malts to form the heart of the beer. Though certainly not a hoppy beer, German Noble hops are essential. Finally, attention is paid to achieving the correct water chemistry. A cool ferment and some lagering time help round out this terrific German ale.
