Steinbier is an ancient alpine beer style in which the wort is heated with hot rocks to reach a boil. The resulting unique flavors of smoke and caramel with mineral notes cannot be achieved in any other way. Each year, we gather our rocks and build a beechwood fire out in the parking lot to make our Steinbier.
