An English Dry Stout this beer is dark opaque and full-bodied but not sweet like some. The moderate ABV is complementary to the robust roasted character provided by generous amounts of
roasted malt. Caramel malt varieties support a substantial, though hidden, balanced earthy bitterness. This beer should be too bitter, but despite the math we feel it turned out just right!
