Burnt to dark brown in color with a tan off white head and aromas of bacon, hickory, and smoked malts. This a traditional German Lager called a Rauchbier which is smoke forward with a clean finish. Named after the first brewery in Chambersburg, Ludwig’s Brewery that was burned during the Civil War. This is our best "food beer" and pairs extremely well with certain foods such as steak or anything hearty/classy.
