Our Double IPA, aslo called Janus, debuts exactly one year to the day after our first beer released. The Roman god Janus is often depicted with two faces for his ability to look to the past and the future. We find this particulary fitting as we look back and celebrate our first year at Second Self. At the same time we look to the future of the brewery with much anticipation and excitement.
The Double IPA is our strongest beer yet - ROBUST and HOPPY, full of JUICY and CITRUSY hops with a nice MALTY finish to balance it out. Cheers to you, to good beer and a great first year of Second Self!
