This strong golden ale was brewed to emulate the flavors of a
stout without using dark malts. To achieve the stout-like qualities,
cocoa nibs were added at the end of fermentation in
addition to cold pressed Rwandan coffee from local
roasters: Flying M. The flavor is reminiscent of cafe
mocha, with subtle chocolate sweetness and a nice
coffee aftertaste power of this long time Sockeye
favorite.
