The beautiful maple syrup aroma and flavor come through in beer with the orange hues coming from the balance of Vienna and specialty malts. Fairly simple in stylistic terms, a very basic ale fermentation and short cellaring time. Being true to the word “harvest”, we are using locally produced maple syrup (at the rate of almost a quarter ounce of syrup per glass!) and our own locally grown barley.
