By starting with the first recipe ever brewed at Sudwerk, the Helles Lager, and replacing the German hops with Pacific Northwestern hops, we created the California Dry Hop Lager. Dry-hopped with copious amounts of Amarillo, Simcoe and Cascade, this beer represents a modern twist on the classic recipe; it has the fresh piney and citrusy aroma of an IPA mixed with the clean, refreshing finish of a lager.
