Last summer The Fermentorium collaborated with Grillin' In Grafton on a backyard grilling & homebrew competition. The participants were competing in two categories, smoked beer and pepper beer. The winner would have the opportunity to brew a batch of their winning recipe here on our pilot system.
The pepper beer winner was local homebrewer Scott Conrad with his Chilibrew, a blonde ale with fresh jalapenos added in the boil and primary fermentation. Heat is minimal, but there's plenty of fresh pepper flavor!
