Driven by ideals of unorthodox experimentation and scientific nonconformity, the Time Traveler was struck one day pondering how matter moves in all directions while most people spend their time moving in a single direction. He lay awake, sleepless night after sleepless night, haunted by the vision of building a true time machine.
He tinkered like a man possessed, welding lengths of bright copper tubing and fabricating intricate components to realize his vision. Metal clanged while electricity cracked and snapped, all amid the hissing of an abundance of steam—a symphony to his ears and mind.
As it neared time for his first time-travel adventure, the days started getting warmer as spring and summer quickly approached. So he concocted an amazing Shandy designed to refresh him during those sunny days and rising temperatures—a wheat beer brewed with real strawberry.
The Time Traveler could almost taste the future, the past, and everything in between as he donned his highly specialized time-travel goggles, popped open a Shandy, and began his journey.
