In Irish Mythology, Caoránach is a female serpent and mother of all demons who some believe still haunts the waters of Lough Derg in Donegal. Of course, we were a little nervous about inviting her to our brewhouse, but since this beer is actually a smooth, easy-drinking Irish Red Ale, perhaps she’s just misunderstood. Sláinte!
