When our flagship beer Pot Kettle Black was released 8 years ago it was lauded as something special and completely new - a Black IPA. We're not sure about the style - we call it South Pacific Porter - but we can confirm that it's always been a juxtaposition: fresh and hoppy, yet also rich and dark.

Every year we keep the experimental spirit of Pot Kettle Black alive by remixing it. For the 2016 version we decided to turn the Black IPA juxtaposition on its head by creating the world's first Pale Black IPA. Everything else is the same as the standard Pot Kettle Black, we've just removed the dark malts. IPA or Pale Black IPA? Malkovich Malkovich.
