Through the mist of time we know the 9th century alchemist ‘Rhazes’ codified distillation and coined the term al-koh’l. This word meaning both intoxication and Jinn (genie) gave rise to the “spirit” in Aladdin’s Wonderful Lamp from the Thousand and One Nights! As al-koh’l rise from the Alembic still in our distillery so too Jinn rise from her bottle, with lavender to lull you, spices to enthrall you, and citrus notes to awaken your spirit! We hope you enjoy this ephemeral liquid!…Responsibly of course!
