Burl Brew

Located in the historic Lexington Distillery District, The Burl was originally built in 1926 as a loading
dock and hub for Texaco Oil. Opening its doors in July 2016 for the first live show and now
averaging around 300 nights of music a year, The Burl has quickly become one of the most
prolific venues in the commonwealth.

As the Burl grew in reputation for its music, what was once the old garage for Texaco Oil
on the property transformed into The Burl Arcade in 2018 and now displays over 15
Pinball machines, 25+ cabinets, Skee-ball, and a digital TV wall.

In response to Covid, The Burl’s music programming was pushed outside. With a newly
built stage and outdoor bar, The Burl Outdoors created a brand new experience for
artists who need a larger capacity
