Isley Brewing Company is the true definition of microbrewing.
Owned by Richmond native Michael Isley, the brewery opened its doors on October 26th, 2013. Mike immediately hired head brewer Josh Stamps and began the brewing process on a three barrel brewhouse while fermenting in seven barrel fermenters.
Our very first beer at Isley was 'The Bribe', a delicious oatmeal porter that will quench your thirst and soothe your soul. (and by the way, it is our one and only 'flagship' beer.)
We started distribution within about three months of opening and
have been in over 125 different local restaurants. We've practiced controlled growth during our first year, slowly adding in additional fermentation
space, more kegs and eventually added an assistant brewer to the lineup.
Aaron Lile became a part of the Isley crew in 2014 and brings
a wealth of home brewing talent and overwhelming passion to the team.
Our goal here at Isley is to embrace the talents of our
professional brewers with the passion commonly found in home brewing
to create a true crafted beer. Our intent is to think outside the box every time and push limits while not following the path that others tend to follow.
