21st Annual Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival

What’s on tap in August? Beer, beer and more Colorado beer. The Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival will serve up more than 100 brews from 30-plus Colorado breweries August 6th and 7th.

Keystone brings the wonders of Appalachia to the Rockies. Down-home cooking, frothy flavors and mountain music are just a piece of the pie. In a whirlwind of hillbilly luxuries, folks gather while 40+ craft breweries from Colorado and beyond showcase their unique blends of hops and barleys. Live music kicks up on three stages and the “best of the best” grace us with their presence throughout the two days. This year’s 2017 rocking Bluegrass Line-Up includes The Lonesome Days, The Wooks, The River Arkansas, Liver Down the River, Wood & Wire, The Railsplitters, Brothers Comatose and back for another year headliner Peter Rowan Band and more!

Back this year, beer lovers can vote in the battle of the brews social media throw down by tweeting, instagramming or posting their favorite #Colorado brew with the hashtag #keystonebestbrew. The brew with the most social votes will be crowned the festival’s “Best Brew.”

Friday Night Kick Off Event - “Eat, Drink, Pick” - Beer Maker’s Pairing with New Belgium Brewing and Chef Chris Rybak
Feast your eyes on an amazing lineup of Colorado-themed food, beer and music to kick-off the 21st Anniversary of Keystone’s Bluegrass and Beer Festival! New Belgium Brewing and Chef Chris Rybak pair to deliver a unique twist on a classic beer maker’s event. Eat, drink and pick your way through six small plate stations, each matched with a New Belgium sample. Foodies and beer lovers; your palate will thank you while your feet will be tapping to the best in bluegrass.

Beer Garden:
Unwind and savor a cold one from the Beer Garden. Enjoy acoustic bluegrass music accompanied with $6 microbrew pints from New Belgium Brewery and Coors Light, located in front of Warren Station at Keystone, music being played at the Quaking Aspen Amphitheater.
