A Scientist and an Artist Walk Into a Bar

In conjunction with the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center and the San Diego Art Institute, we are proud to welcome a local scientist and a local artist to The Casual Side for A Scientist and an Artist Walk Into a Bar!

From the RH Fleet Website:
"What sounds like the beginning of a rather bad joke is actually a fun, new community program by the Fleet Science Center. During Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar℠, local scientists will enjoy something we all do: a beer and good conversation in a local bar. Join them, and ask them anything you want! They'll be easy to spot. Just look for the sign that reads: "We are scientists. Ask us anything!"

We are happy to announce that our next event on Thursday, March 9, will be part of the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering! To help celebrate science in San Diego, we are excited to host: Two Scientists Special Edition: A Scientists and an Artist Walk Into a Bar.

In this artistic variant on our popular Two Scientists Walk into a Bar program, we add a special twist by inviting artists to the mix. For this special edition, we have partnered with the San Diego Art Insititute, who will bring together artists and scientists in their upcoming exhibition Extra-Ordinary Collusion: Art & Science Collaboration.
