Damhansen Bio:
Singer/Song writer/Drummer/Guitarist "Kevin Dean Hansen" AKA " Kevin Damm Hansen ", is all about performance....writing and recording is fun but the performance is what he lives for...He has performed for over 40 years with a variety of different bands.
Genres include Rock/Country/Pop/Bluegrass/Funk/Disco/Soul bands and recordings. He has also been a hired gun drummer and backup singer for performers: Joe Stoddard, Jesse Ruggles, Melody Guy, Jimmy Bivens, and Jay "Bird" Koder, Todd McPherson, Ray Taylor, Jeff Labansky and many many others. He fronts his own band J.R.&Th'FARM playing rhythm guitar and singing lead vocals and winning the battle of the bands 2007 at the "Ponderosa lounge" in Portland Oregon was his jump into country again. His country. That he likes to call "Crunchy Western", He also has a great FUN band called the "Spicious Brothers" that has been added to the compilation disc of the late great "Buddy Blue" guitarist of famed band "The Beat Farmers" with their version of Buddy’s song "Drunk Again"..As a song writer he received local air play in the 80s and was once backed by "Barrie "BJ" Wilson" of international fame "Procol Harum" until his demise in 1990, He had his song "Nine Dollars to Hollywood" added to the International Pop over throw Disc Vol 9 in 2006 and won first place in Chevrolets car add contest with the song "Big Block Chevy" as "Song most played" in 2008. He has appeared in national magazines and was in "Sean Penn’s" motion picture "Call of the Wild" appearing as an extra.
