Acoustic Thursdays at Venti's: Sig Paulson

August 24, 2017 7:00PM - 9:00PM at Venti's Downtown

Free / All ages

Sig Paulson's songs are a bit like a walk in a dry Oregon forest, after a rainy winter. The colors and images are sharp and well defined, as are the characters in the songs; it seems that combination of moisture and sunshine bring everything into perspective. Sig's voice is clean and expressive, and he sings with conviction. There are many truths in Paulson's songs, but there is also a lot of whimsy, which helps make his compositions interesting over repeated listening.

Sig Paulson brings his warmth, charisma and personal authority (from road doggin' the dusty byways of the western imagination) to sing and speak about what exactly makes one a northwest renegade troubadour. He is a convincing balladeer who will make you want to join him on his musical adventures.
-Lisa Lepine, Creative consultant

Sig's music is honest and straight from the heart, a perfect reflection of the man I've come to know.

Sig Paulson is a Northwest original that should be seen and appreciated. When my staff find out that Sig is coming to perform it makes their day. Customers and employees say the music makes them feel like dancing.

A perfect slice of Americana with the right dash of folk, and rhythm and blues.

Once you've been involved in this crazy business for this long, you can only survive with a certain sense of humor, and Sig makes that wonderfully obvious.
